Quilt
Whole-cloth quilt made with a floral cotton top and peach cotton sateen backing. The inteling consists of another quilt made from wool flannel and sections of hand and machine knitting. This can be sen through tears in the backing fabric but only small areas are visible and i does appear to be quite a utlitarian quilt. The top piece is made from six sections, three long strips and three small patches used to make up the length of one of them. The back is made from three peices. The quilting design features central concentric diamonds working out towards the edges, spirals in each corner and chevrons in the outer border. The edge is machine stitched.
