Pleistocene rhinoceros bone
A right mandible and part of the front of the mandible of a rhinoceros. The lower right 3rd premolar, lower right 4th premolar, lower right 1st molar and lower right 2nd molar are all present in the jaw. These teeth are all heavily worn. The base of the mandible is absent and there is eroded where where the incisors should be. The bone and teeth are all slightly cracked. The bone has a brown colouration and the teeth enamel is yellowish-brown.
