Late Bronze Age socketed chisel
Of a similar type to chisels 30.130/3 & 4, but with the edge turned back at the ends and a narrow grooved collar around the mouth of the socket. The chisel is also bent at the blade socket junction.

Date: 1928
Notes: Found on the flood plain between the Ely and Taff rivers, near the football ground, in a shallow bed of river sand at a depth of one metre under the turf.
