Roman copper alloy Hod Hill brooch
The upper half of a brooch of Hull's Type 60 the simplest form of the Hod Hill brooch. The decoration on the bow comprises a central panel with a raised zig zag line flanked by ridged knurled lines to either side with hollow flutings to separate the central panel from the plain outer margins. Below the longitudinal ornament are transverse mouldings. The foot is lost.
