Medieval pottery jug
Rounded jug with plain base, strap handle, narrow neck and pulled spout. All over green glaze and applied decoration: Series of black lines forming an irregular pattern of large traingles/diamonds, each decorated with pale yellow smudges. Restored.
Glazed jug with shield designs, 1280-1350. Found at White Castle, Llantilio-Crossenny, south-east Wales.
