Christening mug, porcelain, bucket-shaped, wide circular indented base, scrolled loop handle with thumb rest; painted with gilt edges and gilt decoration on the handle, the body is decorated with two flower sprigs in gold against an underglaze blue ground and reserved with a panel outlined with a gilt line border and containing the inscription 'Richard Williams / Gwaelod-y-Garth / Arms Born Augst 14th / 1823'.
