Tureen stand
Baker, Bevans and Irwin, Glamorgan Pottery (1813-1839)
Tureen stand, earthenware, oval shape with straight-sided foot-rim and curving sides, a raised edge to the well, the rim moulded with several raised bands and lobed, the rim extends at either end of the stand into two solid handles moulded with scrolling foliage; transfer-printed in blue with to the centre of the well a large spreading spray of flowers and foliage, smaller sprays of flowers and foliage to the sides of the well, dentil border to the rim of small circles and diamond shapes issuing small flowers.
