Roman lead sheet
Two joining fragments of lead sheet. A naked male figure is depicted in relief. The figure is that of Mercury, standing naked, facing forwards and left, with his weight shifted onto the left leg. In the crook of his right arm rests the caduceus, whose twined snakes can clearly be seen, and drapery. The left arm is outstretched and bent at the elbow. The ground is indicated by a raised line.
