Carbide lamp
Brass carbide cap lamp with aluminium reflector and rubber detachable base cover, registration mark embossed top of lamp.
Made by Caving Supplies to the pattern made by the Premier Lamp Co. of Leeds who ceased making these lamps in the early 1980's. Formerly used in UK mines - last documented use being Llanharry Iron Ore Mine Mid Glamorgan in the 1960's and now sold for sports use by cavers.
