Pastille burner
Pastille burner, drab-coloured earthenware, standing on a triangular base upon which a hemispherical bowl is supported by three supports modelled in the form of dolhins with grotesque faces, three pierced holes to the bottom of the bowl and an acorn-shaped pendant terminal below, to the interior of the bowl rests a flat round removable shelf pierced with numerous holes and with a raised cylindrical rim around a central hole; gilt bands around the rim of the bowl and the sides of the base, the dolphin supports picked out in gilt.
