Pot, cooking
One handled cooking pot, of orangey-buff earthenware, standing on a tapering foot rim, rounded sides, inverted lip rim above incised banding at shoulder; horizontal loop handle; the base unglazed, the remaining exterior and interior with a lustrous rich brown manganese glaze, streaked and mottled with darker brown giving a tortoiseshell effect, the interior base scorched, crazed and discoloured, extensive chipping to glaze on exterior sides.
