Money balance case
Money balance case, tin-plate, flat oval form with hinged lid, the inside bottom of the case lined with woollen felt and the inside of the lid lined with cushioned silk; covered with black japan with to the upper surface of the lid a tortoiseshell ground with a reddish tone. The case contains a brass money balance, two brass weights, four small squares of brass punched with small circles, and a token of the Royal Mint dated 1821.
