Vase, bone china; standing on a square plinth base, a narrow pedestal foot with a pronounced ridge above, slender ovoid shape with a concave curved neck extending over the shoulder and flaring at lip; two handles formed by a monopodic female wearing a crown, with outstretched wings, terminating with a moulded acanthus leaf; one side painted with growing polychrome flowers in the foreground, on the right, steps with an urn on top, on the left an obelisque, in a Classical landscape setting, a town in the distance; other side painted with a spray of pink roses in full bloom; frieze of flowers around the base of the neck with wavy trailing gilt foliage and small polychrome flowers above; gilt plinth and pedestal foot, gilt bands to the shoulder, and interior and exterior of the lip, gilt handles.
