‘Titus Flavius Postumius Varus, senator and legate (of the legion), restored the temple of Diana.’
Postumius Varus later became prefect of the city of Rome in 271, under the Emperor Aurelian. The site of the temple which he restored is unknown, but it may have been near to the amphitheatre in Caerleon.

Notes: found in a meadow apparently near the fortress, at a place where RIB 335 and part of a statue of Diana had been found
