Salt, silver with a blue glass liner, pointed oval shape with four out-turned feet of fluted shell-like form, the vertical sides with two horizontal bands of vertical piercing, between these an engraved foliate band in late-18th-century 'bright-cut' style, on one side an engraved crest of a bird standing on one foot.
