Jug
Jug, grey-coloured salt-glazed stoneware, short cylindrical foot-rim, globular body, cylindrical neck with horizontal ribbing, plain loop handle, to the front of the exterior body an embossed medallion with the initials "G R" and a crown above, the medallion surrounded by incised radiating petals, to either side of the body incised abstact floral and leaf designs; the front and sides of the body apart from the embossed and incised designs covered with cobalt-blue, a manganese purple wash around the neck. A large flake missing from the surface of the front of the exterior body.
