Poster advertising a meeting at the Town Hall in Worthing, Sussex, on 1 November 1928 to raise funds for distressed mining areas in Wales. The meeting resulted in help being given to the Blaina area. The speaker, Emma Noble, was a Quaker, originally from Swindon, who later established the Quaker Settlement in Maes Yr Haf, Trealaw, Rhondda Fawr.
