Roman copper alloy fitting
Hooked fitting. The object comprises a long narrow plate from one end of which emerges a pin which is bent back to form a simple hook and lies behind the plate. There is no evidence of any means of securing the free end of the pin, assuming that it was a pin rather than a bar. The object is in poor condition and badly abraded so that its original outline cannot be fully determined.
