S.S. BARON LOVAT. Built 1926 by Ayrshire Dockyard, Irvine for H. Hogarth & Sons of Ardrossan. On the 6 June 1941 she was torpedoed and sunk by the Italian submarine GUGLIELMO MARCONI when southwest of Cape St Vincent on a voyage from the Tyne to Huelva.
