Milk jug and cover, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a foot rim, pear-shaped body, double c-scroll handle, folded spout, domed cover with acorn finial; decorated in brown enamel, one one side a landscape with two figure in the foreground, tree to left buildingin cental distance, road running through to middle distance, opposite a landscape with a tree in the centre, four figures to the right, building to left, gilt flower sprigs under soout and handle, gilt foliage to handle and spout, ornamental gilt border to lip, gilt border to foot rim; cover decorated with two small landscape scenes with two gilt sprigs, gilding to finial, ornamental gilt border to rim.
