Bureau cabinet
In two stages, the lower being a flap front desk with bracket feet, the upper a cupboard. The desk is fitted inside with a small central cupboard with shallow drawer beneath and flanked by two tall document drawers, the right one having a secret compartment. To each side are two pigeon holes with four drawers beneath. The fronts of the central cupboard and the drawers are inlaid. The desk closes with a flap at 45. Below the desk flap are two small and three large drawers. The drawer knobs are turned and inlaid with bone and ebony. The upper cupboard has two panelled doors and two fixed shelves. The pediment is of broken type ornamented with carved dentils and moulded cornice.
