Mug, bone china with a green-tinged white translucency; standing on a flared foot rim, ridged above, cylindrical form flaring at lip; loop handle with leaf moulding; painted on either side with an autumnal landscape scene, one with a small single arch bridge in front of a castle, the other with a double arched bridge in front of a cottage; gilt band to foot rim, gilt lip, and five small gilt anthemions to the handle.
