Early Bronze Age pottery beaker
Extensively restored, rim and base originally missing; of good, thin ware and reddish buff surface. Of continental zoned Beaker tradition with a slightly angular body. Features notched decoration throughout consisting of three zones made up of alternating diagonally hatched bands, the central zone defined above and below by a pair of horizontal lines, the bottom zone so defined at least on the upper margin. There are also two slight mouldings on the neck.
