Bowl, earthenware, standing on a rounded waisted foot, the lower body with short concave sides, then rising to rounded curving sides in the upper body; transfer-printed in blue with to the exterior sides of the bowl the 'Haymaker' pattern, in the foreground a female figure rakes hay whilst behind her two male figures load hay onto a wagon, in the background are trees, a house and fields, a spray of flowers to the interior bottom of the bowl, wide border to the interior sides of the bowl of sprays of flowers and foliage on a dotted blue ground, narrow dentilled borders to the interior and exterior lip-rim.
