Roman copper alloy scabbard plate
Damaged sheet with repousse decoration consisting of a female figure, probably Venus, within a circular wreath, flanked on the left by a figure, possibly Mercury or possibly Pan, and on the right by a figure holding a jug. Possibly from a Mainz type scabbard.
