Vase, hard-paste porcelain, globular body tapering to a narrow cylindrical neck that flares out toward a slightly thickened and flattened rim, footring; painted with Kakiemon decoration of two birds perching on branches with foliage in a predominantly red palette, the neck is painted with a border of red triangles and white triangles outlined in red around the rim.
