Riley, John & Richard (Earthenware and china manufacturers at the Nile Street (c 1802-1814) and Hill (c 1814-1828) works. The Hill works were taken over by Samuel Alcock.)
Jug, porcelain, inverted pear-shaped body with a cylindrical neck that is shaped into a high pouring lip, spreading base, looped rustic handle; decorated with gadroon moulding on the rim of the neck and on the edge of the base, both sides of the jug are moulded with raised flower decoration and the body and the neck of the jug are painted with rose bouquets and sprigs.
