S.S. CORBROOK glass negative

CORBROOK. Built 1929 by Cowpen Drydock & Shipbuilding Co., Blyth (with engine by George Clark Ltd., Sunderland) and owned by Cory Colliers Ltd. (Wm. Cory & Son), London - the forerunners of Cory Towage Ltd. She sank on the 4 September 1940 off Cromer, together with three other steamers, when the convoy carrying coal south to London was torpedoed by a German E-Boat. All of CORBROOK's crew survived.
