Goblet
Goblet, earthenlware, standing on a round spreading foot and knopped stem, bulbous bowl with flaring lip-rim, beading around the bottom of the bowl and the exterior lip-rim; a broad band of a snuff-coloured ground around the exterior sides of the bowl, this sprigged with two groups of a seated figure in a landscape which have been overpainted in orange, yellow, green and brown enamels, the rest of the goblet covered first with a dark brown glaze and then with a copper lustre which has mostly worn off.
