Plate, hard-paste porcelain, standing on a straight-sided foot-rim, curving sides and spreading rim, a shaped indented and raised edge to the rim; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the one side of the well a large spray of naturalistic flowers including roses and a tulip, around the rest of the well and the rim scattered insects including a butterfly, ladybirds and a bee, and a sprig of forget-me-nots, a chocolate edge to the rim, the plate broken and repaired.
