Figure of Aunt Chloe, white earthenware, blue tinted crackle glaze standing on an irregular circular base, inscribed in gilt script. Figure wearing black shoes, white stockings, loose white skirt decorated with orange and purple stripes, loose short overgarment with short sleeves and collar and buttons outlined and gilt, a black spotted pink scarf over her head and tied under her chin. Standing left arm bent across chest, right arm hanging holding a yellow basket with white contents (probably cotton balls).
