Medieval silver annular brooch
Silver annular brooch.
The brooch has a circular frame, rectangular in cross-section, with decoration on the front face. The back of the brooch is plain. The decoration comprises a repeating line of punched pellets within raised borders. The silver pin is of flattened D cross-section, its head bent around a restriction in the hoop, and there are three punched pellets running transversely across junction of the shaft and head.
