Burrell All Service Gas Mask, diagrams & photo
Two diagrams, an illustration and a printed photograph that have been cut out and glued onto a piece of blank paper. The first diagram is printed in black ink on white paper, showing 'the flow of air and special features of the gas-mask used in mines'. The second diagram is printed in black ink, and is a diagram of the all-service canister, absorbents and timer. The illustration is in colour, and shows a man wearing the Burell gas mask. The photograph is printed in black ink on white paper, showing a miner with a flame safety lamp and wearing the all-service gas mask. Document 88.98I/3 (1) to (4) were originally contained within an acidic card file.
