Jug
Jug, cream-coloured earthenware, green-tinged glaze, extensively crazed; ovoid body, recessed base, high turned neck, projecting lip spout, loop handle with foliate terminals; the body coated on the exterior with chocolate brown slip, and painted on each side with flower sprays in high temperature colours, the neck with a blue-grey ground and orange lip from which depends a band of chevron and feather ornament in yellow and orange, line of underglaze blue ermine tails to the handle, and foliate decoration to the spout.
