Plate, hard-paste porcelain, circular shape with tapering foot-rim and spreading sides; finely painted in polychrome enamels with to the centre of the well a female figure in classical costume assisting a child to ride on a dog in a woodland setting, around the rim an elaborate border of anthemions and foliate motifs, gilt bands around the edge of the well and the rim. The plate broken and repaired.
