Tea bowl and saucer
Tea bowl and saucer, conventional shape. Greyish porcelain with greenish tinted glaze. Enamelled and gilded band of decoration inside rim of teabowl and saucer, of puce enamel roses alternating with gilt cornflower heads, each swag separated by a gilt dot from which a gilt spray of leaves hangs vertically. Narrow gilt band 1.2 cm below rim on outer side of bowl, and encircling central gilt cornflower head on saucer, gilt edged base of bowl and rims of saucer and bowl.
