Sugar bowl with cover
Sugar bowl and cover, bone china with a buff translucency; standing on a cylindrical foot rim, Etruscan shape, with an inner ledge to accommodate the cover; slightly raised cover with a bulbous cone finial; bowl painted with wild flowers including bluebells, dog rose, forget-me-nots, and wild strawberries, cover painted with three wild flower stems; gilt lip and scroll border, gilt band to the foot rim, wavy scroll pattern inside the lip, and gilt scroll border and lip to the cover, finial painted with three white leaves on a gilt ground.
