Plate, soft-paste porcelain, footring, shaped edge; a blue line divides the plate into 4 fan shaped panels each containing cinquefoil reserves outlined in blue and gilt, the panels contain alternating designs of flowers and animals and are painted against a brown and green trellis pattern and a puce circular pattern dotted with flowers, Chinese style red and blue flowers are painted on the central reserve and the underside of the rim is decorated with a border of detached patterns in blue, red, green and yellow.
