Jumper made by Dorothy Jenkins, about 1957-59. Hand-knitted for her teenage son, Stanley Jenkins.
Dorothy Jenkins (1907-77) was an avid knitter, and was interested in all sorts of textile crafts. She lived in Barry Dock throughout her life, and would buy yarn from a shop run by a Miss Galsworthy on Island Rd, Barry.
