A group of white students and some parents picket the entrance to Leon Godchaux High School at Reserve, LA, in protest of the desegregation plan used at the school. The Boycotting students said they are attempting to have the freedom-of choice plan returned to the school.

The photograph is accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity signed by the librarian of the Baltimore Sun Archives Paul M McCardell.
