Tea bowl and saucer, hard-paste porcelain; cup standing on a foot rim, rounded sides; saucer standing on a foot rim, spreading sides; both painted in brown enamel; the cup painted with a landscape, figure seated on a rock in the foreground with road and figures in the distance behind, framing trees to sides, vignette opposite, gilt border to foot rim, ornamental gilt border to lip; saucer painted with a landscape, building to right, trees to left, two figures in the centre, surrounded by six gilt sprigs, ornamental gilt border to lip.
