Medieval bone flute
Decorated deer bone flute, square in section. The mouth piece is ..... The flute has a square window and five note holes, some of which are damaged. The entire surface of the flute is decorated with small incised dots which are formed into crudely formed lines. There are cracks across the surface of the flute.
This medieval flute once entertained the inhabitants of White Castle in south-east Wales.
