Plate, bone china, square with rounded corners and a cruciform impressed border, plain rounded rim, flaring sides and a well-defined, relatively high, round foot rim with flattened edge; there is a band of gilding at the rim, around the rim are three hand-painted sprays of wild flowers (Herb Robert, buttercup, and forget-me-not with dogrose), at the centre of the plate is a composition of pink and white dogroses, all the decoration is painted overglaze.
