Square wooden tub with a ribbed interior, bolted on to four wooden legs. Two side lats for handling and a wooden, pivotted frame on one side. Cast iron gearing mechanism operated by a wooden lever handle, attached to wooden lid, to rotate the metal-framed dolly (with six wooden pegs) with a reciprocating movement. Wooden lid held in position with two metal buttons. Metal draining spout with wooden bung towards base of tub.
