Late Iron Age pottery vessel
Late Iron Age pottery sample fragments.
Although this style of pottery spans the Roman conquest from the 1st and into the 2nd centuries, the material in SMR19C shows a complete absence of Roman pieces. Therefore it's thought the pottery of SMR19C is most likely 1st century, pre-Roman.
