Saucer
Nantgarw China Works (1813 - 1822)
Saucer, soft-paste porcelain, with a slight yellowish tinge; standing on a tapering foot rim, rounded sides; painted in the centre with a stylised carnation-type flower in underglaze blue, surrounded by berries and foliage in underglaze blue and overglaze red; the blue smudged and bleeding into the glaze, three further sprigs in blue and red encircling the rim with blue banding to outer rim.
