Large, heavy, earthenware plate, recessed footring, broad rim. Honey coloured glaze. Well painted with a stylised antelope painted in pale blue, light brown and darker brown enamels, standing with head just above the ground and with long brown horns one standing up almost vertically, the other arching back following the line of the antelope's back. Curved pale blue and brown tree behind with three small yellow/green leaves. Antelope standing on a horizontally striped ground: from top, narrow strip of pale blue strokes and ovals; thin light brown line; broad yellow/green strip; broader lighter yellow/green strip. Central design set in a narrow pale blue band the exterior marked with strokes. Cavetto and outer edge of well banded yellow. Two bands around rim: the inner of pale brown, the outer of pale blue with strokes on the outer side interspersed by mid brown dots.
