Dish, earthenware, oval shape with flat base and curving sides; transfer-printed in brown with to the centre of the well a classical scene showing a reclining female figure holding two naked cupids with vases and urns to either side and pillars, arches and further figures in the background, wide border to the rim with four panels each containg a small vignette of a female figure and an urn enclosed within a cartouche of scrolls, these panels linked by longer rectangular panels containing a scale pattern, all on a stippled brown ground.
