Urdd Gobaith Cymru bobble hat, 2020. Produced as part of the 'Het i Helpu' (Hat to Help) campaign to raise funds for the movement during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Knitted construction of fabric stitched together with one seam at centre back. Design consists of three horizontal bands of white, red and green. The green extends, folds under and acts as a lining to the hat, resulting in a double layer of fabric. Five darts at crown, finished with overlocking stitches on inside carried out in green thread. Bobble of all three colours stitched to crown. White lettering on red ground reading: 'URDD GOBAITH CYMRU'. Lower edge of hat is turned up by 7cm.
