Plate, soft-paste 'duck-egg' porcelain, with a clear green translucency, greyish-green tinge to the glaze; circular with a shallow foot ring, and plain everted rim; decorated with an on-glaze black print of the 'gouty house leek', overpainted in brown, green, yellow and pink enamels, plain gilt rim line.
